This version of Rahti is deprecated. The projects need to be migrated from Rahti 1 platform to the new Rahti 2 production platform by June 2024. Please consult the migration guide for more information.
Getting access to Rahti
Login using a CSC account
In order to use the Rahti 1 container cloud with a CSC account, you need:
- A CSC user account. You can check which is your "CSC username" in my CSC profile page. You can also change the password from there.
- A computing project with access to Rahti
Access to another CSC computing system such as cPouta, Mahti or Puhti counts as a valid computing project. The same project can be used in Rahti.
Applying for access
Apply for Rahti 1 access for a computing project in the My CSC customer portal:
- Login to My CSC with your CSC account.
- Go to the My Projects page.
- Select the project for you want Rahti 1 access for in the project list.
- In the list of CSC services, click Rahti's dropdown menu.
- Read and accept the Terms of Use and press Apply for access.
- CSC will contact you once your application has been accepted.
If you don't have a suitable computing project for Rahti, you can create one in the the My CSC customer portal.
Creating a new computing project
Create a new computing project in the My CSC customer portal:
- Login to My CSC with your CSC account.
- Go to the My Projects page.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Create a new project button.
- Give your project a name, description and project type, and click Create project.
- CSC will contact you once your project has been successfully created.
